Orontide Group
Orontide Group Limited (Orontide) provides maintenance and support services for businesses in the mining, defence and oil and gas industries. Five separate businesses form the Orontide Group. These are Madco, Madco Marine, AlphaBlast, Robil Engineering and Wovodich Engineering.
Orontide’s strategy, structure and management systems are designed with a long term growth focus, ensuring the company remains a strong, viable and competitive entity despite fluctuating economic cycles. Orontide’s growth strategy is based on continued organic growth and business acquisitions.
At the heart of Orontide’s success are its people and systems. The diligence, drive and expertise of employees, coupled with proven systems and procedures, are integral to the company’s strong market position.
Orontide’s strategy is supported and communicated by a corporate business plan that incorporates the Vision, Mission, Values, Key Result Areas (KRAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and review processes required to focus and measure the company’s performance.
Orontide’s subsidiaries are accredited quality assured companies in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 incorporating total quality management principles and philosophies. Steps are underway to gain safety (AS 4801:2001) and environmental accreditation (ISO 14001:2004).
History
The Orontide Group began with Madco, a small family workshop in Henderson, Western Australia in 1979, and has grown to be a leading group of maintenance and engineering businesses.
Madco was started by husband and wife team Serge and Sophie Madrigali who have worked hard over the past 28 years to grow the business, at the same time preserving its original vision and values.
